How It Runs

From first call to steady results

1

Pick the tier

Semaglutide if you want steady, predictable loss. Tirzepatide if you are after faster metabolic change. Medication and registered-nurse follow-up are in every tier, so the difference is the drug and how much IV support comes bundled.

2

A nurse comes out and teaches you

Nobody should learn to inject themselves off a printed sheet. A registered nurse visits you at home, goes through your intake, walks you through the technique, and stays until your first dose is done. That visit sits inside your first month, not on top of it.

3

The provider writes the script

A licensed California provider handles the telehealth appointment, reads your labs, and issues the prescription. It is filled through our 503(A) compounding pharmacy network and posted straight to your address.

4

We stay on it month to month

Doses get adjusted as your response changes, and there is a check-in every month. If nausea kicks in, Tier 2 and Tier 3 already include the IV therapy to settle it, delivered by the same nurses who run our drips.

Included At Every Tier

What your first month actually covers

  • The onboarding home visit, covered inside your first month at every tier
  • In-person self-injection training rather than a leaflet
  • A health history review before any dose is given
  • Medication posted to your door, with nothing to collect in person
  • Titration handled by the same team month after month
  • Month to month billing, no contract, cancel before the next cycle
Bloodwork

Labs from the last 90 days, before anything is prescribed

We need bloodwork from the last 90 days before anything is prescribed, and again as the program runs. Draws go through Fullscript, Rupa Health and Quest Diagnostics, whichever is closest to you. If your primary care provider already ran a panel inside that window, bring it and we will use it.

Before you start

CBC, CMP, HbA1c, TSH and a lipid panel. No prescription is issued without them.

At three months

CBC, CMP and HbA1c, to check the program is doing what it should.

At six months

The full panel again, thyroid markers included.

Questions, Answered

Medical weight loss in the Bay Area: FAQs

Do I need a prescription for this?
You do, and getting one is part of the program. A licensed California provider runs a telehealth good faith exam, reviews your labs, and prescribes semaglutide or tirzepatide if it is appropriate for you. The script is filled through a licensed 503(A) compounding pharmacy network.
Am I injecting myself?
Yes, once a week, subcutaneously. It is far less daunting than it sounds, and you are not left to work it out alone. Your onboarding visit exists precisely so a registered nurse can teach the technique in person and watch you do it before you are on your own.
Semaglutide or tirzepatide, what is the difference?
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist. Tirzepatide works on GLP-1 and GIP receptors both, and produced larger average weight loss in trials. Which one suits you is a clinical call your provider makes from your health profile, not a menu choice.
What happens if I want to stop?
You stop. Every tier is month to month with nothing to sign. Cancel before the next billing date and that is the end of it. The first month covers your onboarding visit either way.
How do the included IV sessions work?
Tier 2 includes one a month and Tier 3 includes two. Each carries a credit of up to $299 against any drip on our menu, so hydration, recovery and metabolic drips are fully covered. If you pick something above $299 you pay only the difference.
Which labs do you need, and can I use my own?
CBC, CMP, HbA1c, TSH and a lipid panel before the first prescription. We order through Fullscript, Rupa Health and Quest Diagnostics, or you can hand over results your own doctor already has as long as they are inside 90 days.
Will my insurance cover it?
No. This runs as a cash-pay concierge program and we do not bill insurance. HSA and FSA funds sometimes cover part of it, which is worth asking your plan administrator about.
Which parts of the Bay Area do you cover?
Onboarding visits and IV therapy are mobile across the East Bay, the South Bay, San Francisco, Marin and the Wine Country. If an in-person onboarding visit is genuinely impractical where you are, we will talk through an alternative before you sign up for anything.
